The wine has certainly an age, a bit of oxidation, cold tea notes, a bit of volatile and a very very strong medicinal character that renders it undrinkable. Cork was healthy, no TCA taint or other problem.

  12/20/16, 6:19 AM - Judging from the way my 2001 bottles of d'Yquem look, I'm sure you had a flawed bottle. I would not rate this bottle.
