December 20, 2016 - My first JP Thévenet experience. For me, based on this bottling, this domaine is somewhere between Guy Breton and Foillard–all good!

Light, funky peppery nose with tart and sweet red raspberry and cherry fruit on the nose. Quite light on the palate, which I love about '13s, with the nose pretty accurately reflected. Slightly sweet, slightly tart finish with medium plus acid. This was a bit more tart on day 2, so I wouldn't be inclined to hold this, but it's so drinkable and delicious, it provides a welcome contrast to the meaty '15s.
