  December 24, 2016 - Two hour decant; rebottle for transit and two hour slow-ox. Dark fruit/plum, mocha and mild anise nose; evolved to include graphite, mild sous-bois, tobacco and wet gravel while pure darkish-red fruit coated the palate. Full-bodied and well-balanced. Tannins beginning to round out a bit; this will certainly go the distance if the fruit holds on. Great stuff that will only get better if I can resist...
