    December 30, 2016 - Very much a barnyard nose. On the tongue, typical, to me, lightly red-fruited, but, then, noticeable tartness. Medium bodied. Very drinkable, and, for $14, good QPR.

    2/11/17, 12:03 PM - There is a lot of truth to the idea of matching wine from a given region with the food of that same region. That makes a lot of sense. My opinion, though, is that people make too much of food/wine pairings. My personal philosophy is to drink the wines I enjoy with the foods that I enjoy. I'm sure that comments like that will cause me to lose a lot of CT "cred."

    2/11/17, 12:20 PM - You can mix and match as you like. It depends on your tastes and needs. I am more classical but occasionally have had a chilled light red with fish. but need Tannat or Malbec with a rare fillet steak.
