  January 8, 2017 - Didn't enjoy this as much as my last bottle consumed 5 years ago, little less fruit forward which I would normally consider a good thing, but it wasn't replaced with any additional complexity, pretty much four square oakville cab, cedar, black currant, vanilla, cassis and overt oak. Unpleasant alcohol on the nose, need to drink this on the cooler side. It's also throwing decent amount of sediment so would suggest standing up for 24-48 hours before decanting. I will try again in 3 years, but I'm not optimistic that this will ever get to where I had hoped it would.
