Community Tasting Note

January 12, 2017 - This wine comes across to me as severely variable. By contrast to the bottle I tasted just three months ago (fat, voluptuous, opulent), this one was extremely rigid and even frail, with the incense and spice and sweetness up front all the way. There was even an apparition of watered-down Beaujolais in it that was reminiscent of the "Monbou"s of the early 1990s. Sorry, this was a bit of a superficial Flock of Seagulls power ballad rather than a mid-period PJ Harvey sex scorcher. Missed all the right things to qualify as a satisfying Perse Frankenstein bride: cherry, meat juice, fatness not there. I even doubt the extended drinking window now, and advise, in Parkerian correctness "Drink 2013-2015". You are too late, sucker.
