January 14, 2017 - Decanted 2 hours. Dark garnet with some bricking at rim. Bouquet is fading as I got to make a tasting note on this 3 days after opening but picking up some garrigue and eucalyptus. Poised on entry showing fine balance and supple, very fine tannins supporting a cherry dominated mid-palate. Acidity is surprisingly present here, given the vintage, and is a big part of what makes the long final so enjoyable.
