  February 6, 2008 - The fourth time I've tasted this wine, but this time it was in the company of its three siblings ('03, '05 & '06). Color is clear silvery gold, quite light. Nose shows a bit of funk, interesting, but not as clean and refreshing as the other bottles, I think it is the oak poking though. This is possibly the ripest tasting of the four chards, but it is well balanced by the citrusy acidity; and there is a chalky minerality on the finish.
