March 16, 2017 - 2015 shipment arrived yesterday, so why not pop a bottle today! Lovely bright ruby color, matching exuberant cherry and raspberry nose. Pure red fruit joy on the palate, with a decent amount of complexity in the form of chalk, dusty road (almost veers to Sangiovese), and juicy fine tannins. Doesn't manage to quite hide the 15.3%, but also doesn't feel as hot as many other 15+ers.

3/17/17, 1:07 PM - Jih5, it was pop n poured. It was quite ready from the get go. We drank the bottle over the course of 3 hours, and it didn't evolve noticeably.
