March 20, 2017 - Montagu's Chardonnay are always so enjoyable. They aren't the big, buttery, in your face style, but they have enough weight to them that they can hang tough with grilled fish. The nose of this '14 from the Corotto Vineyard is full of almonds, buttery oak and a tropical fresh scent. Excellent texture and acidity on the palate. Lots of butterscotch, caramel and nectarine on the finish.
