  March 22, 2017 - Perfectly fine as an easy quaffing red with say burger and fries but isn't really a sophisticated Syrah as the Jeb Dunnuck / WA scores would suggest
  
  Fruit forward with smooth as silk tannin profile with no real depth or breadth on the palate
  
  Fun wine to drink but say for $30-40 and not the nearly $350+ current retail
  
  Doesn't have anything to do with a sophisticated northern rhone Syrah
  
  More like a generic modern napa red
  
  Wouldn't have guessed this was Syrah in a blind taste test
