March 23, 2017 - 3 hour decant. 12.5% other wise no information at all. Strange tall bottle. Stinky moldy cork, but the wine is OK.
Some hints of coffee at the rim - pretty sure this is Ramisco - some cherry in the nose - quite lightweight in the mouth - more cherries - nice edges - goof finish - nice wine.

3/27/17, 2:51 AM - Looks like a really interesting bottle. Where did you find this?

I wonder why it was not bottled as Colares. Did you take either of the label photos that are on the site here? One reads Vinho da Mesa and the other is just Vinho Tinto. Very interesting!

    3/27/17, 3:26 AM - I acquired this, in a mixed lot of 3, at a recent auction.

I took the picture with the vertical label "Reserva Particular".
The other, the 1989, is clearly (I guess) a different wine. My bottle had only the labels you see - nothing on the back. There's a somewhat similar looking label and bottle under the 1974 - one which seems to have a date, and the other not.
