    March 18, 2017 - Aerated with a Vinturi and decanted for one hour. Nose of blackberry, currant, mocha and graphite. Black fruit, mocha and a hint of spice on the palate. Leads to a medium to long finish. Full bodied. Very pure. Served with beef stew.

    4/9/17, 2:12 PM - Hoservin, I recommend that you do not use a Vinturi on any wine older than 3 years. I was told that the vinturi can make a young wine taste like an older wine and that if you use it on a older wine, it mite mute the flavors..

    4/10/17, 7:28 PM - Yondan, thanks for the comment and your advice. I've used a Vinturi extensively over the last five years. My personal experience has been positive for wines older than 3 years, but now I am curious if I've been helping or hurting. I'm going to take your advice in the near term. I am also planning to conduct my own side-by-side experiments to determine "to Vinturi, or not Vinturi". Stay tuned for my personal thoughts. Cheers!
