  April 20, 2017 - I have 4 of these sitting around, so I decided to open one to see how they are progressing. Very well, I would say! Great dark fruit (cherry'ish); darker than I was anticipating, blended with some licorice, tar, Provencal herbs, and pretty smooth tannins. Based on some earlier reviews, I was expected more tannic grip, but this bottle was quite smooth and very nicely integrated. Sure, it is in a good place now, but I think this will cellar nicely for at least another 5yrs.
