May 31, 2017 - Color: pale yellow with good viscosity. Grassy bouquet showing off white flowers, green apple and a touch of marzipan. Pleasantly medium-to-full bodied on the palate with minerals, fresh cut apple, some lemon and lime zest. Finishes long with a slight (but not unpleasant) note of bitterness. Quite dry, quite appropriately Rhone and quite Grenache Blanc dominated to my mind. Distinctly more austere than the white Rhone cuvees I usually enjoy from Paso but still very nice and near their price level.
