  June 4, 2017 - Slightly lightening but still dark. Nose has evolved and the apparent oak of its youth is much more integrated. I wonder if the last taster's wine had some TCA but mine had rich tones of raspberry ganache with a cocoa powder nuance. Still has great acid and, though it has lost some of the primary fruit voluptuousness, it's gained some secondary earthy notes. The finish is medium-long and still shows some tannins after an hour of air. Could be held for several years yet. Overall, excellent and far exceeded what previous reviews had led me to believe.
