  June 16, 2017 - Five hour decant & rebottled for transit. An insane amount of sediment fell out of this on decant, more than I believe I've ever seen... Beautifully bricked tendrils falling down the sides of the decanter let you know that this bottle has begun to demonstrate the beauty of bottle age, and the palate agreed. Wonderful tart cherry and cinnamon-tinged baked apples highlighted the Italian earth with just a tinge of minerality on the medium-long finish. Beautiful!
