  March 9, 2008 - Thanks to my friend MB for calling this out several months ago. Opened 2 bottles over 2 weekends and they performed very well. Needs air, but the reduction is not too much. Just sort of mutes the nose until it gets an hour+ of air. Dark fruits with a little red peeking out. Very seductive elegant fruit (but no crazy sweetness) with enough legitimate structure to keep it together. Nice floral nose. if you want a high end Cali Syrah and are not buying loads SQN, this is a no brainer at $75. I like that it does not collapse into sweetness as so many do.
