  June 29, 2017 - Consistently one of the absolute best values in wine. This is a perennial cellar defender for me, always available as a second through 8th bottle, depending on the night. I find the 2014 a bit more wild at this early stage than earlier vintages (especially the fantastically approachable 2013), but as it airs out, it smooths out to a wonderfully deep cherry with a smooth vanilla finish. I gave the 2013 at 92 at this stage ... this seems like a 90 with the potential to grow a point or two with age. For the price, you can't go wrong.
