July 3, 2017 - Deep golden color with plenty of fresh acidity combined with classic Bolli oxidized fruit. Simply great intensity here with rich, slightly sour and yeasty flavors along with notes of dried lemons, clove-like spices and perfume of sewer water. This is a fabulous Bolli champagne that has great complexity and tons of life ahead. Look, you have to like the Bolli style of oxidized, almost madeirized fruit and I do so to me this wine is magical tonight with caviar.

9/26/17, 9:39 AM - May I ask when this was disgorged? I know that this wine has been disgorged over quite a long period of time and that may explain the disparity between tasting notes.

9/26/17, 5:02 PM - The bottle is gone so not positive but I purchased it in May of 2007 so probably disgorged 10 years after the vintage.
