  July 7, 2017 - Had with the 2012 Vosne villages which was also forward and delicious. The 1er cru had a deeper core of fruit and more complex nose of black fruit, spice, herbs, with a touch of exotic. Palate was fruit forward but also showed a tight tannic side. Could be a sign of good development potential. Will show well to fans of big new world pinots...not that there's anything wrong with that! Try again in a few years.
