  September 1, 2017 - This may be the best chianti classico I have had. It is drinking wonderfully right now - a very balanced yet complex wine with cherry overtones and soft tannins. Everything about it is good, unlike many chianti's that are thin or not clear in the intensity of their fruit. It may still have a couple years left - I have another bottle and will try to put it off for awhile.
