  September 2, 2017 - Relatively dark garnet with a transparent rim and a little depot. Initial smoky nuances reminiscent of toasted cedar are followed with oleander, crisp deciduous forest leaves and grouse whortleberry. Fascinating herbal-fruit continues on the palate and are joined by balsamic-ethereal components like lemon-thyme and then raw venison. The wine ends with the impression of abundant, robust tannin and a meat-culinary character with dark spicy minerals and lingers long and vital on the finish.
