September 8, 2017 - This wine has a juicy bouquet of dark fruits. The mouthfeel is soft despite the presence of some tannin. The flavors are pure Cabernet and include blackberry, some cedar, leather and cigar ash. The wine is very well structured and should continue to resolve its tannin over the next 3-5 years.

3/22/19, 10:46 AM - I hope you don't mind a question on this wine... I know it was a year and a half ago so you may not remember but did you decant the wine and how long did you let it breathe? Thanks! any input would be helpful.

3/22/19, 1:30 PM - Yes I do decant. I try immediately and then wait 2-3 hours and retry. I remember this wine being quite closed so I would be surprised if 8 hours is needed. Hope this helps
