  September 13, 2017 - Dark Purple for a wine with 12 years of age on it. The nose is a smokey meat scent with hints of cedar. On the palate this is a silky smooth wine the fruit is still very concentrated but balanced. Maybe not as complex on the palate as I had hoped. Finish is long and smooth. This was really great I have been looking forward to this wins since I purchased on release. It did not disappoint. Still early into its drinking window and would expect it to continue to improve in the next 3-4 years.
