  September 23, 2017 - Some truffle, leather and dark fruit on the nose. Dark fruit and some acidity up front, cacao on the mid palate, some vanilla creaminess on the back end and still prominent tannins. I also get just a hint of black olive. This has softened and evolved since my last note 3 years ago, but remains less complex and not nearly as impressive as other amarone.
