September 26, 2017 - Very consistent descriptors as my previous note, but somehow this bottle is drinking more balanced and complete. It's a lighter style, which I don't think is necessarily a bad thing, and the finish is a bit short, but there is complexity, nuance, and finesse to this wine that I'm enjoying quite a bit at this sitting. Aromatically more complex than on the palate, but this is a perfectly suitable pairing for your usual red sauced affair, and I'm enjoying it post meatball hero lunch today just the same. Cheers.

11/9/18, 6:00 PM - Hey Trey- my wife got me a bottle of this wine as a gift, said she searched it on CT and it had good reviews from a studley guy lol. I said I know who that is, The StudleyTray!

Since this was a gift and you may not be aware, here's an interesting piece from Last Bottle's pitch for this wine:

"A client favorite, the Bindi Segardi family is LITERALLY royalty in this part of Tuscany, dating back to the mid-1300's when the family led an army that defeated the Aretines and were installed as governors of the Republic. As they have for 600+ years, they continue to farm grapes, olives, and animals on their landholdings. VERY cool story here for history buffs, check it via Google or maybe just put on the first season of Game of Thrones and pour a regal-sized glass of Tuscan ambrosia!"

Pretty wild, huh? Cheers, Knurd and Mrs. Knurd.

BTW, your wife checks CT for wines? That's awesome. My wife says, "this label is pretty."
