  September 29, 2017 - Fill and cork good. Decanted for an hour; very heavy sediment. Garnet color. After some slight funk blew off, a modest nose of dark fruit. Medium-bodied black cherries on the palate. Past its prime with faded acids and minimal tannins. Relatively short finish. Was probably far better five+ years ago.
