    October 2, 2017 - tasted september, 2017
decanted for 1 hour then drunk over 90 min
color - showing purple violet tinges, not inky at all, young
nose- a bit tight at first and started to develop scents of blue fruit , expressive and began to provide hints of salami and smoked meats.
    very nice!
palate - right from the start this was quite nice, a bit reserved. the weight of this is perfect for a syrah at this level. over an hour an half, this built up and showed dark fruits, very good freshness for this vintage. concentration and structure tells me that this will develop over the next 5 years.
at about 15 euros a bottle in france, this is a steal. remembering the o5 of this at the same moment, this surely has more heft and
great QPR. will but another 2 or three bottles this for the ride
