  This was quite a surprise as the expected drinking window elapsed a couple of years ago. However, this bottle was surprisingly dark with only a slight browning along the edges. It was still medium rich on the palate with a
  slightly spicy and leathery quality. On the finish you could still pick up a caramel/toffee quality with the slightest hint of chocolate. A very pleasant surprise and I am glad i still have a couple of bottles left.
