  October 20, 2017 - Showing middle age. Slight bricking color. Nose shows green element followed by deep red fruit and some damp earth. Palate has green bell pepper, some flint, leather and vibrant currant. Smooth but still noticeable tannins. Really a nice balance between youth and refined age. People who prefer either style should find pleasure in this wine right now. Will continue to evolve a few more years and likely drink well for many more. Overall a very enjoyable right bank wine.
