  April 3, 2008 - STILL purple, 10 years in bottle and no age. Nose is a big blueberry pie, some hints of alcohol on the nose for the first hour. Absolutley nothing going on as far as complexity or secondaries; nothing wrong either, maybe this stuff takes 20 years because I sure could not tell it was 10 years old. Silky smooth on the palate, nice finish that lasted 40 seconds with just a hint of oak. Overall a nice wine but at 10 years I would expect something to have happened, softer, more open, with some secondaries. Try again in a few years.
