November 11, 2017 - Popped this open and let it decant for a couple hours and have to agree with other posts about the opulent nose. An absolute joy to swirl and sniff, the perfume in the glass reminded me of that one girl you dated (or wanted to date) years ago whose come-hither scent put you in a trance for however long you were in her presence. The wine was less exhilarating on the palate, although still a pleasurable bouquet of dark fruits and kirsch. I was left wanting more, and perhaps it was because we had popped open a bottle of 10 Mon Aieul the weekend before and absolutely loved that bottle of wine, so I might not be fair here but a wine of this pedigree should have more depth to it IMO.
