November 21, 2017 - Interesting pinot with some life left. Very dark nearly opaque (for a pinot) color. Nose is a hint of strawberry, slightly darker cherry with blackberry and touch of stem. Mouth feel is soft but not velvety. Flavor consistent throughout the palette. Tastes of dark, dried black cherry with a finish of chalk and pencil lead to me. (I know that doesn't sound like pinot but its what I'm getting) Not necessarily a favorite of mine. It is a wine that is on the down slope but probably had a wow factor when it was younger.

11/22/17, 5:09 AM - Update: Had to walk away for an hour and when I got back, wow had this changed. Became very syrah like. Deep, nearly brooding flavors. Less pencil on the end. Its an interesting pinot.
