December 26, 2017 - Degorgement 25 July 2015. This has become so much more mature in a year. Very nice at the moment. Very mineral and fresh on the nose. On the palette, it reveals a very fine bubble that keep exploding with minerals and fruit. I got one bottle left with the same degorgement. One of the questions I stil have with Initial is if it should be opened quite young or if it ages gracefully. I tend to think it should be opened 2-3 years after degorgement.

12/27/17, 1:16 AM - We drank two bottles of 2007 disgorgement recently (from before Initial was named "Initial") and I they were fantastic. So yes, it ages well, even beyond 10 years.

3/20/19, 2:01 PM - Since my last comment I've had the '12 and 13' disgorged versions and they were completely fresh and fantastic as usual. I did prefer the '13 slightly however - but I dont think age had anything to do with it.
