December 31, 2017 - A very classy offering. Lovely dense texture and weight in the mouth. A sweetish entry gives way to a slightly effervescent zingy mid-palette but finishes dry. Having tasted both Cloudy Bay and Dog Point from the 2016 vintage all which were very good my own preference slightly is for the Greywacke .

N.B. A common error that one can't emphasize enough myself included is in the past I tended over chill my white wines. It makes a whole lot difference to the wines aromas etc if you do allow the wine to sit in the glass or remove the wine from the fridge in advance for 10-15 minutes before enjoying with food.
