  December 31, 2017 - Double decanted; moderate sediment. Tastings notes on day two. Bright ruby red color. A somewhat restrained nose of black cherries, cedar and minerals. Full-bodied sour dark fruit on the palate with lively acids and smooth tannins. The fruit carries over to a long and quite pleasing finish. Should drink well for another five years or so.
