  December 31, 2017 - Decanted a magnum for two hours; very light sediment. Deep ruby red color with some bricking. A lovely nose of chocolate, raisins, cherries and vanilla. Luscious dark fruit gives a velvety mouth feel; jammy, full-bodied with good acidity and soft tannins. The finish goes on for ever... I want to take another sip before the first goes away. I would guess this wine should drink well for another 7-10 years. All in all, a great Amarone.
