  January 1, 2018 - Opened this with little expectations. What a surprise. The nose was a bit reticent, but whoa, the palate was extraordinary. This had an amazing balance of creaminess with appropriate balancing acid. The palate was marked by turbinado sugar and fig. Really an amazing drinking experience, and one that makes me nostalgic of my trips to Napa in the late 90's.
