  January 14, 2018 - Inky purple - totally opaque. Beautiful nose of flowers, cedar, tar, blackberries, and some green pepper. Full body with thick tannins and more than usual acidity for a cabernet. Tart red berries and licorice notes. Finish is long and hot. Lots of dark tobacco and chocolate, but the alcohol stands out a bit and harshens the finish. Very Bordeaux-esq character. Great power and concentration that will help this age and soften.
