  January 19, 2018 - Tasted blind. Very appealing notes of black cherries, plum, smoke, some minerality/graphite and some notes of tobacco leaf and flowers. It's pretty full-bodied but with excellent freshness and medium-high acidity, as well as medium-high tannin of great ripeness. Long finish with a lot of tension. An excellent Sammarco that will age nicely for many years. (95+)
