  January 25, 2018 - The 2009 D'Issan certainly benefits with a 2 hour decant. Even then the nose is still a little reticent but with further airing it reveals fine cedar and tobacco aromas. The tannins have melted considerably and the texture is polished and layered with velvet. The finish is long so I would imagine that with time in bottle this will improve without question. If you do have more than one bottle do open to gauge its evolvement. Very enjoyable.
