  January 28, 2018 - On opening, completely closed. With swirling cherries and Cheracol, so decided to decant. Violet red with evident browning on rim. When time to serve at 3-4 hours, this was singing. Cheracol was not evident at all. Cherries, tobacco, leather, asian spice on nose. Palate with medium weight fruit and beautiful balance of fruit, acidity, slight mineral and fine tannins. Really unique; walks between elegant and rustic charm. Fine match to osso bucco.
