Community Tasting Note

January 29, 2018 - Popped and poured. Boysenberry and blueberries, dense core of fruit, mid bodied drying tannins, medium to full bodied, good length. Compared to last bottle in August, the wine has tightened up and put on weight, acidity is now more settled. A good prospect to cellar, especially for the price. While ok to drink now, the best years are ahead of it and I would leave for another 5-8 years before checking in again.

1/29/18, 1:44 PM - Nice i see you have gone up from 88 to 90 in a matter of months. That's good to see it's improved that much in a short time. I have 5 left so i might think about opening one this year to see how it's going.

1/29/18, 7:22 PM - The nice thing about a wine such as this is that it's fairly inexpensive to pop bottles and see how it's tracking. I was unconvinced by my first bottle (wonder if it was sound?), but happy enough last night.
