2/21/18, 10:24 PM - If the bottle is good and properly stored, this wine has not even closely reached its peak. Müllers Kabinetts needs at least 10-15 years, Spätlesen 20+ years to reach full maturity. Did you gave the wine enough time and air?

The wine was at a large Riesling tasting - I've not added all the notes yet so the associated story is not there - so I had no visibility of the storage, how long it had been open and what it's treatment had been. In such circumstances I must take the wine at its face value...and describe what I perceive on the nose and palate. cheers, chatters
