  February 25, 2018 - Translucent, very slight haze, deep garnet color with dark autumn orange at the rim. Smells are smoke,. meaty, cassis, sweet spices, cherry, orange zest, and dates. Tastes are sweet spices, cherry, smoked meat, currants, kir, and mushroom and earthy notes. Tannins are velvet and there is a soft, ripe texture while the finish is long with a little heat.
