March 5, 2018 - From a perfectly stored bottle. Nice dark ruby colour. Wine is still very young showing a fresh nose with cherries, leather, wood, spices and hint of mint. Tannins are resolved and the wine is very enjoyable. Requires a considerable amount of time to open up. Full, ripe chewy tannins, with blue and red fruits and a long, mineral aftertaste. Wonderful balance and one of my favourite vintages from this chateau.
