  March 27, 2018 - Medium dark purple with clearing at the rim. Lovely sweet Pinot typicity with some distinct forest floor mushroomy scent. Medium body with plenty of fruit left. Ready to go with tannins quite soft and powdery. Adequate acid to balance. There is wonderful nuance of a mysterious spice somewhere between sandalwood or cinnamon. A touch of earthiness. Finishes medium ;wish it was a bit longer. Unexpectedly excellent.
