March 30, 2018 - Port tasting (tawnies and rubys); 3/27/2018-4/3/2018 (Todd's): This was given 3 hours of decanting prior to the tasting. It probably could have been 3 days. That said, it is delicious and drinking very well if young right now. Inky purple in color. The nose has plums, black raspberries and slight prune notes. Very deep it tight. Slightly sweet with black raspberry fruit. Shave dark chocolate (dusty). Long, smooth finish. Gorgeous wine with upside over the next 2 or 3 decades.
