April 4, 2018 - Quite dark reddish in color, with initial nose mostly more of woody spices, twigs, tree bark. Ultimately some Assam tea, faintly some cherry cough drop, allspice. It has a lot of viscosity, but doesn't seem to carry much fruit flavor with it, so it is something of a mismatch to me. Not particularly an RRV profile at all: I can experience some cherry cola-ness if I keep thinking about it, which means it is as likely my own mind as what the juice is giving me.
Maybe their were some must adjustments which just aren't working any more. Been sipping it for five hours now, but still wanting to like it more than I do without it getting to a better place. I'll score it as an 88, but it's really an 88-. I give a + if I think there is upside, but this one may have more downside than upside.1,220 views
